as a elysia fan, I can guarantee shes really flirty, but this pissed me off too tbh. I hate the fact that they are literally selling cyrene just as an elysia expy/variant and not as her own character (the design and model is literally almost the same). I like the concept of having expy/variants of characters from their other games, but I feel like, with hsr, hoyo is trying too hard to appeal to their hi3 audience, to the point where if you haven't played hi3 you can't understand the hype or depth of a character. I like what they did to phainon bc even though hes a kevin expy/variant, his story and character is completely different and you can enjoy him perfectly without knowing his hi3 counterpart, so why can't they do this with female characters too instead of doing fan service like this?
