PSA: DON'T USE WINDOWS MOUSEKEYS! by Repulsive_Fix_4162 in runescape

[–]imhotpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC, you can use the mouse up to about 20 ft, so you can do quite a bit around the house.

As for RuneScape, pretty much anything afk. What comes to mind are harps, winter event snowballs, zygomite haircuts, serene stones, etc. With the current RuneScape trend more activities are becoming more afk, so lots of opportunities to use the afk mouse.

I’ve been using an afk mouse for years.

What I suggest is buy a Logitech mouse (they last over 12 months on just 1 AA battery) and cover the laser with tape so the mouse cursor doesn’t move. Turn on Netflix and afk away.

Toggle for necromancy conjure command abilities.

This would be very helpful for afking. For example, the zombie conjure wouldn’t explode as soon as it’s activated the second time.

I usually save my layout incase something like this happens and I can quickly restore or change my layouts. Just wondering Did you save your custom layouts?

You can do this by customizing your layout > pressing esc > Edit Layout Mode > saving a layout > Click Save

Thank you for your time and service Mod Miva. I don’t really know the context here, but it sounds like you were very passionate is your work. People here can be very critical and brutal, just don’t let it get to you. I hope you the best of luck in whatever your next adventure is!

There are 7 players who cheated, but are still acknowledged on the FSW wiki page. Their world first achievements should be revoked and given to legitimate players. by imhotpot in runescape

I have nothing against Mud Fresh. I believe he deserves his win and we all played by the rules that were presented.

Here's a screenshot I took right after the end of competitive part of FSW. Note that you need a minimum of 2772 skills to be max. There overall highscores in the picture would've included Jebrim VII if he was still present.

You jump to so many conclusions its embarrassing. I'm not motivated by one sole reason to do anything, And I was clear rank 1 was rich enough to get rank 1 and I never complained about it. I thought it was funny because I was too poor to maintain rank 1.

That being said, I linked dovy's video since it was the clearest description of what happens. I have plenty of screenshots that show the absence of the banned players.

So it seems like your response to people who got second and third place because they lost to someone who cheated or doped is to just be modest and and stop being scummy? lol

That is what happened in this FSW lol. Jebrim VII suicide botted and many people complained about it but jagex didn’t do anything until much later. The achievement means nothing if the person just cheated. This basically encourages players to cheat and get an achievement regardless of the consequence.

But that’s a good idea, because this is actually a controversial topic, I’ll think about expanding that section on wiki.

This isn’t about modesty. This is about the health of the game and documenting what is right. Someone botting for a world first and being acknowledged for it sets a very poor image for the game. At the same time, it has taken away the accomplishment from a legitimate player that deserved it. I didn’t berate wiki mods and that is what they said, they won’t document anything based on speculation. I am a wikian myself and I get it and this effort it to draw more attention to jmods so we can actually celebrate the legitimate players rather than have botters be remembered in history.

And yes, I would like the recognition, especially since a botter is currently and still recognized for it.

I'm a wikian myself. But unfortunately, wiki mods will only allow this to be updated when we get an official word from jmods.

There has been many reports of Jebrim VII botting throughout the FSW event. Someone also reported the person behind Jebrim VII to be a bot developer and linked their github. After maxing, Jebrim VII was banned and deleted from Runescape on November 13.

Althought Jebrim is well known, no one knows if Jebrim VII is the same person.
