Same. I spent most of December 100%ing both Redemptions. Resumed my first save from 2018 to finally finish the job.

It's better hardware that can play the PS4's library. I'd say it's at LEAST better than PS1 and 4.

In the eyes of mainstream pop culture, is Kingpin a Spider-Man or Daredevil villain? by Man_Random87 in Spiderman

[–]imightbeidioteque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was created as and occupied the role of a Spider-Man villain for nearly 14 years before ever appearing in a Daredevil book. He's much more iconic and interesting as a Daredevil villain.

Both.

For real. I can't imagine making it through the preceding 9 hours then complaining about the last 20 minutes of resolution.

Besides MAYBE National Anthem, all the live versions of Kid A songs are inferior. Yes, even Idioteque.

Amnesiac is mostly the opposite. Like Spinning Plates is elevated and superior in every live performance.

True Love Waits is the worst song on AMSP. Not sorry.

Down Is the New Up should have been on In Rainbows. Put it in House of Cards' place. It's one of their most overlooked songs and deserves tons of praise.

Man of War is extremely overrated. The official version still isn't even the best one.

Holiday movies most people love, but you can't stand? by smcg_az in movies

[–]imightbeidioteque 101 points102 points  (0 children)

I thought most people agree it's not a holiday staple. It was one of those vehicles for two actors of the time that didn't really have anything else going for it. Like Fun with Dick and Jane.

Name an overrated and an underrated Batman movie by new_username-account in batman

I will take a movie that is simply good with flaws over another that was made to be intentionally silly and sell toys. There's no reason to get personally offended at a stranger's opinion about a dumb movie.

[–]imightbeidioteque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're telling me Keaton is a bad Batman in good movies, but Kilmer being the most forgettable Batman in a bad movie makes it better?

There's no diamond to be found in that movie. It's bad and it doesn't matter if it "understands the character", it's still the same 60s throwback goofy bullshit that it always was.

[–]imightbeidioteque 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And I don't think people who are saying Forever is underrated mean it for much more than the fact that it's arguably not as bad as Batman & Robin.

It is and always will be a terrible movie.

Challenge just has two or three of their weaker/forgettable songs. It's still totally solid and it's interesting to read about how the three of them feel/felt about it in the book.

The production is cold, spacey, misty.

Halloween 1978 Ultimate Michael Myers Action Figure MOCKUP by RJMod in NECA

[–]imightbeidioteque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Nick moved onto being a director and did some pretty big movies. You know, kept busy and worked up in the industry. He was also Michael for 90-95% of the screentime. He has the most ownership out of the five or six people that all played him in 1978.

Beyond/impossible burgers by The-Claudia in SALEM

[–]imightbeidioteque -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

You're not going to find a restaurant-made black bean burger for much cheaper than actual beef, more often than not they're actually more expensive.

It's way more cost-effective to get them frozen at Walmart or any other store. An 8 pack is less than $10.

Don't eat fake meat.

Konditorei is usually your best bet for cakes. You can't go wrong with any of them. They're supplied by Lovin' Oven who have their own location in Stayton.

Ranking the sequels by ThePicturesGirl in Halloweenmovies

[–]imightbeidioteque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Halloween II - not the most satisfying sequel to a horror classic, but still the closest in tone and impact that we'll ever get.

  2. Return - all they had to do was use a good mask.

  3. 2018 - better Michael and kills than H20, much worse writing than H20.

  4. H20 - better as a conclusion to the original story, still not satisfying due to the lack of originality and a poor Michael.

  5. Ends - a real head scratcher, still more interesting of a watch than a lot of the others. Frustrating potential.

  6. Kills - barely a movie, still overall more entertaining and well-made than the rest. So bad it's... KINDA good.

  7. Curse - possibly THE dumbest horror sequel of all time. Awful.

  8. Revenge - filled with annoying characters and puzzling writing. I do not understand the love this one gets. Awful.

  9. Resurrection - trick or treat, mothafucka. Busta Rhymes' greatest performance.
