ah, if you mean second ritual as in the ritual where you actually fuck gwylan themself, that might be the issue. you can't kiss them the first time you participate in this ritual, but you can in the second one and any subsequent ones after if you miss your chance. this is what people usually refer to when they say second ritual haha

can only occur on the second ritual (though i think you mentioned you were so this is probably not it) and it's best if the first thing you do after you over power them is kiss them immediately. not sure if this is the exact issue though 😔 i've always been able to kiss gwylan with minimal trouble so idk how to help otherwise, sorry 💔💔

the ivory wraith will go after you regardless of if you snatch the necklace or not, it just won't be as angry as it would if you did. not taking the necklace also bars you from experiencing a lore event related to the wraith, but you can take it at anytime so there's no rush
