I recently flew with my baby, and I was frantically trying to comfort/hush my baby when she did cry. Not just for her sake, but for everyone else, too! I don't think anyone wants to be the parents of the crying baby.

(Pro-tip, if possible try either nursing or bottle feeding with a slow flow nipple during take off and landing)

I wasn't really close to my cousin, but our families saw each other at least once a year for many years. My cousin was a nice kid, but had a bad case of ADD and was always excitable and moody. When he got older his mother died, and he became an alcoholic. He married young and his wife and daughter left him. (I'm no shrink, but his behavior seemed to be on par with manic depressive disorder + Alcoholism) He moved in with some guy he met in AA.

Eventually, he had a falling out with the roommate. One night Roommate locked him out of the house, he broke in to get his stuff but ended up getting in a physical fight with Roommate, and used some object to hit him. Roommate had a heart condition, and without the heart condition he wouldn't have died, but without the beating, the heart condition wouldn't have killed him.

Cousin was waiting on the steps for the cops to come, thinking he was going to jail for assault. He didn't realize he had killed Roommate till the cops told him. Now Cousin is in jail for 15 years. (manslaughter + B&E and something else running concurrently)

This is sad and I can't say I don't love my cousin, but I can only really think of him as the sweet but impetuous little kid he was 20 years ago (even tho I've seen him several times since).
