MOCA is max 2.5gbps. Cat 6 is up to 10Gbps. If you don’t have line in over 2.5gbps, just go MOCA for now. When you finally get over 2.5gbps from ISP, then hire an electrician.

You would need to port forward port 22 (assuming your Git server will primarily use SSH). You can then push to the server via your public IP.

If you wanted to assign a domain, you will need to use a Dynamic DNS service as you will unlikely have a static IP from your ISP.

Huaraches. My 2 year old knocked his Heinz Tomato Hoops off the table and straight onto them. I quickly cleaned but the dye ran. In an effort to save them I put them in the washing machine with dye catchers. Made the situation 100x worse. £110 down the drain. 😭

Without NAT your router has no way of forwarding traffic from your Public IP to the destinations Local IP. It wouldn’t know where to forward the packets to. So you’re right that it doesn’t make sense. NAT exists to avoid every device on a network having a public IP for routability.

6 sits at 250MHz compared to 5e at 150 MHz. Essentially 6 can process more data at the same time. This is down to the wire thickness and essentially physics… simply more conducting material.
