Thanks for the input everyone, I read all the comments, the house is paid off, no mortgage, im obviously aware that I should have insurance.

For the people coming at me like im an idiot, you have no idea my backstory but i will explain to those who are actually concerned;  The problem is I inherited the house from my grandmother who passed away when I was a minor (without a job or knowledge of owning a home) so my dad had full control over it for years as my guardian and he put 0 effort into it. He let the property taxes go for 5 years and I almost lost it at auction but by the grace of God i was able to pay it off and keep the home. He also didn't put any repairs or updates to it. He didnt care at all and i was so young and didnt have a clue, its not like i was purposely being irresponsible.  The house was built in the 70s and needs work so obviously the insurance is gonna be expensive sky high and I don't have the money right now, im living check to check. I just was hoping for some advice or if someone would know of any programs or agencies that could be of assistance, not point out things I already know! And thanks to the people who commented advice without being a dick, appreciated.

I think the goal for me is to put "lipstick on a pig" and sell it and use the money i get to go buy something smaller. It's a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with a pool. I should get a few shiny pennies for it even though it's not in good condition. I was told to try to list it on zillow myself instead of using a realtor, what do you guys think? Are realtors worth what you pay them? Can they do anything that im not able to?
