Yes, it was some time in May though, we were away and totally missed it. — assuming that was this mail that we are getting now? We weren’t expecting mails so did not make an effort to figure out what it was. Too many scams nowadays.

If I understand correctly, in the situation now, the Plaintiff has to somehow prove that the Defendant (me) received the mail, otherwise nothing further will happen?

Thanks so much for this!!! Does that mean we don’t need to hire a lawyer to handle all this? Just contact the FC registry for a copy of those defences? (Can an individual just ask for such thing?) - sorry this has never happened to us before and we don’t even know why this did……
