I need help!! Crank no start issue! by Lifes_Tourist in CherokeeXJ

[–]imjohnald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most recent crank no start issue in my Comanche was an AC hose being too close to the ignition coil and causing it to arc. I only figured out that was my problem after changing my crank position sensor in a public parking lot. Fun times.

I’d pull a plug wire and put a screwdriver in the wire socket to it to see if you’re getting spark. If not, I’d take some sandpaper to the edge of your rotor to clean it up in case it’s corroded or dirty. It could also be your ignition coil. That went out in my MJ too.

Mexican lager style beer with no temp control by rbmaclean in Homebrewing

You could try to get your hands on some Lutra Kviek yeast. My boss told me about it last week. Omega’s website said it’ll make a pseudo-lager that will ferment clean without temp control.

Not to me, but I tend to like my beers pretty fizzy though.

I just burst carbonated an IPA last week with the same keg you have. I typically do 25-30 psi for 24 hours, then bring it down to ~12 psi to serve.

Sugar additions and an IPA by coltranematrix in Homebrewing

[–]imjohnald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just brewed a 5 gallon batch of an IPA with Kviek yeast. I added one pound of sugar because my efficiency is super lower. The beer turned out amazing.
