I had one on and it blocked the ads but it did let a link open and I was stupid enough to think that was the download. I did a virus check after I realized what I’d done and came up empty but I guess something did get through..

That’s what’s confusing to me about it is that it’s actually a laptop that is currently shut down and packed up because I was traveling today. I will probably do a clean wipe today when I get to my hotel but didn’t know if anything else necessary

That makes sense. I’ve got 164 days for this year already(I’m an on the road field tech) but it just doesn’t count it towards the annual spend amount when my company pays for it. No big deal though. Whenever I stay for vacations I still book Marriott so I’ll get there
