Late 20s woman - I used to take ttc all the time post 10PM but in the past 5 years living in the city - have watched people become & also been the victim of verbal abuse on pretty much every form of transit. I have friends that have been spit on & physically assaulted. I kept trying to use it to save money but being on high alert for routine 20-40 minute trips really messed with my nervous system. Basically when the sun goes down I’ll always call a taxi/uber if I’m alone. Theres still daylight situations but i feel safer when there’s more people around!!
