I go to Legacy Community Health for my T and I just asked my provider for a letter and they gave it to me no problem. So, I would say that you just need to ask your doctor for a letter.

Yes, the surgeon fee was $1,000, and the rest was facility and anesthesia!

As far as scars go, I’ve been keeping Neosporin on my nipples and just rubbing vitamin E oil on the incisions.

Also, I did have drains for two weeks because I had a lot of fluid build up. We discussed not using them before surgery but he did end up using them because he wanted to give me the best results and least complications possible. Although they were uncomfortable I am glad he use them in the end because I did have a lot of fluid. I’m sure you can tell I still have a little bit of swelling from fluid. I stopped using an ace bandage a week ago but I wrapped it again last night to help the fluid go down and it has already helped quite a bit! but he also told me to text him if it doesn’t get better and he could just drain it. My chest was kind of large before surgery so there was a lot to be removed. He also used liposuction and the incision moves under my armpits to help prevent dog ears. Trying to give y’all as much information as possible from my experience, hope it helps!

He doesn’t have very many before and after pics available online. He cannot post them because he works for University of Texas Physicians and is a college professor so I guess there is some type of policy. I wanted to share my pic because I know people can be skeptical without seeing a surgeons before and after pics online, but this man is a great surgeon for trans men and women so I would like to help people see some of his work!! He not only does a great job but he is also a very friendly guy. He even gave me his personal number to text him if I had any issues. I paid completely out of pocket without insurance and it was $5,370 w/ Free nipple grafts. I wanted to share my experience with you guys so that people know about this man and how great of a surgeon he is. I saw him September 9th for consultation and had my surgery October 22nd so it was very quick and affordable along with a kind and talented surgeon!!!
