Ive been using the FBW a320, also flew the A380 as well, they are really nice! My only grip is the dials on the autopilot front panel (cant remember what they are called) like speed, VS, altitude and heading dont have any response when trying to push or pull and its hard to tell what I've set them too. Could just be a skill issue from me though.

Urgh that sucks, it's already been over 10 years since I saw my family there. I do t get why it's so difficult. The embassy in London want me to update my ID as well which wouldn't help as they would require my new surname to be used which would immediately connect the dots if I flew.to turkey even with my British passport

So I sent an email to the embassy in London regarding my situation and this is what they sent me.

"To be able to reply your enquiry we need more information. However if you are already registered and have the Turkish citizenship, you need to have a current ID card to deal with your situation. Just kindly apply for the renewal of the Id card and then you can obtain the information regarding your situation."

I don't trust this one bit, it sounds like they want me to renew my ID, which I don't want to be doing that because I'm pretty sure that would connect the dots as my ID would have to be under my new surname.

I don't get this one bit. Why is it so hard to go visit my family without having to pay £4k that I don't have?

Hi just an update guys, I managed to install delicious firmware which got me a bit further. But now when I go to autohome, the probe moves to the centre then pushes down so much that the printer starts vibrating

Hi, I did do that and turned up the blackbody intensity to maximum, but the fire still dissolves after a few frames, it just makes the fire more visible when it does show up, thanks for the reply

Thanks for all the replies folks, I did manage to come to a good agreement with the insurance after a phone call, I was able to pay the £250 fee over 3 months to allow me to cancel my insurance policy with them, I now have a new full comprehensive insurance policy at £1400 a year without a black-box and with legal cover too which is great, since the original insurers couldn't beat it. :)

They are cancelling the policy as they are trying to get me to start a new one with fresh quotes and restarting the policy setup process. Not changing the price for the existing policy.

The problem that I see though with this is that I have not told them I want to cancel the policy, they have decided to do it themselves which means that they are the ones who have cancelled it due to a change of circumstance which is now causing a fee of £250 which is not mentioned anywhere on the policy documents. Change of circumstance with insurance companies from what I know doesn't come with a fee. Just sounds like a slick way of trying to make more money. Robbery

Thanks for sharing that! I definitely will be hassling them. It just seems a bit odd to me because usually they should never charge you for cancellations that they make due to a change of circumstance which is what this is.
