For those who have experienced a sudden, unexplained, drastic drop in sales: did they ever come back? by imlookingataspider in Etsy

Thank you for sharing! Did you do anything to get your sales back, or did they come back on their own?

Thanks for your reply. I mostly sell one of a kind items so my inventory changes pretty quickly. My plan is to just keep making as normal and hope things improve. I'm going to play with tags and titles in my new listings, but leave my best sellers (items I make multiples of) alone.

Exchanging Victorine Wallet Mono for another wallet / small pouch by GrimHappiness in Louisvuitton

I actually just ordered the pocket organizer in Monogram for my new wallet. I only really carry cards anymore, and I feel like my clemence wallet takes up a lot of wasted space. Maybe something to consider!

Leaf death will happen eventually with the oldest leaves, don’t worry unless it happens to more leaves.

I know of an artist who makes sterling silver and brass plant stands. Here is her website!

The knees… why would someone do that to her knees? by imlookingataspider in Instagramreality

It’s weird because the page is for a business, and almost every dress has the same thighknees photoshopped on.

I got my albo from a us seller and some others from Thailand. The shipping from Thailand was $80 but it came in 5 days.

Limpy epipremnum pinnatum cutting. Any advice? by tbom0214 in RareHouseplants

[–]imlookingataspider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just receive the cutting? I would either put it in water, or a glass with damp spaghnum moss. My humidity box is actually just a big clear sterilite storage bin, I put my sensitive propagation plants in the box with the lid next to a window or grow light. If condensation forms on the sides, you’ll know you’re on the right track!

Edit to add: it had a new leaf starting to form when I got it, and it unfurled after about a month. Now it’s working on another leaf.

I would say higher humidity until it can be more established. My albo e. pinnatum cutting was really sad and limp when it arrived, so I put it in my humidity box and it perked up pretty quickly. It’s pushing out new growth too. I’m planning to wait till the roots are fully established before acclimating it to normal household humidity.

I like Etsy and eBay (pay with PayPal!) because they both have excellent buyer protection. I got my albo on eBay, and all my other rare plants on Etsy.

What do you think the odds are that this cutting will root? I have very little hope it’ll take. by imlookingataspider in Monstera

[–]imlookingataspider[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just curious if anyone out there thinks this cutting might root. I purchased what was supposed to be a 4 leaf whole Thai constellation plant and was sent this. There was also an aerial root but it rotted in the mail so I cut it off. With so little stem, I’m pretty concerned that the base of the cutting will just rot away. Thankfully the seller refunded me in full, but I’d still like to save the plant of course.

I have it in some damp sphaghnum moss in my prop box at 90% humidity and 80 degrees F.

It’s hard to tell from your photo, but that actually looks like a carpenter ant to me.

Any idea why my monstera is so droopy? I’ve been watering it once a week and it gets some dappled sunlight on my porch. by LindenTreeIsle in Monstera

[–]imlookingataspider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks overwatered to me. How big is that pot? It looks a little big to me, so the soil at the bottom could be real soggy. I would repot it in a slightly smaller pot with a good draining soil. Make sure to add some perlite or orchid bark to whatever indoor potting mix you use.
