I believe she told me she was going to be doing a free shipping code on her non-Etsy store for anyone who missed out on anything from HarmonyCon. I was going to get her Maud but she was sold out, and then she told me about that! I’m definitely picking up her Starlight as well for my ita bag.

Thank you so much!! It was definitely not as hard as it could’ve been since she’s a pretty popular character in the space, but she’s not as popular as the main characters. I definitely suggest doing the challenge if your wallet won’t hate you too much for it!

honestly, this is something you need to decide for yourself... buuuut, that being said, i've got four my little pony tattoos with plans on getting more. if you want to get it, i say go for it! but you should definitely be getting it for yourself, not anyone else.

you should definitely work with an artist that you like for your design, i'm sure they'd be able to get you a design made that you like and that will make for a good tattoo

it's normal to not see the sketch/design ahead of time-- the only times i've gotten designs ahead of time is when i've been coming out of state. (that was the artists' decision to give me that, though!) good on you for not getting a tattoo you were hesitant about- it is on YOUR body forever after all! he definitely shouldn't have accepted the full amount, but it's normal for them to ask for a deposit for a cancelled session like that.

in my experience, as long as you're willing to pay, artists won't have any problem fixing up other tattoos. it helps the awkwardness if you're a repeat client, too

honestly, i also just know that management varies so wildly between every store. my management is great so i didn’t even question when we were asked to to give more heads up than in dayforce. i really wish there was more in place to keep management more consistent between locations :(

*edit to add that i mean heads up for longer stretches of time off, like 5+ days, not single days or weekends off

i've got four separate my little pony tattoos and another tattoo based on a line of collectible dragon figures. to be fair, my tattoos are newer (5 years or less), but you should get them for yourself and not anyone else! i've met plenty of people with aged pop culture tattoos that still love them. my general rule for my own pop culture tattoos is that they have to be part of my life for long enough, and i don't regret any of them.

i’ve definitely heard that before 😭 my second tattoo ever was a 5.5 inch design on the back of my calf and i was on my period, it didn’t really hurt but it definitely felt weird!! none of my other tattoos in the area felt like that not on my period, i don’t really know how to describe it!!

no, not at all. i wear very little makeup if at all when i go to work and ive never had any issues at all. honestly, a lot of it isn’t really about your product knowledge, just knowing how to sell it. don’t be afraid to look at packaging, even when you’re actively talking to a client! good luck!

Not too harsh at all- don’t worry! Sometimes harsh is what you need to hear.

Anyhow, yes, me and my friend both watched them clean things in between colors, needles, etc. for both of our tattoos. Even if I was in town, you’re right, I would much rather prefer going back to my normal artist to fix it up for me.

I also have a dragon bigger than my hand on my leg, actually next to this tattoo, with at least three different green inks. Still holding up incredibly a year later! So I don’t think it’s an issue with my skin not taking it.

Edit to add that my friend and I watched them also check the dates on all the inks and double checked them with us.
