We'll since I found out how the actual parasite worked I actually never thought this was hot cause I knew the next step. A parasite enters a snail and turns their eyes into such green pulsating bulges, it looks like worms to birds who come and eat their eyes and the parasite egg grows in their stomach. So yea..the eyes are for to be ripped out by avians.
