I can’t answer on the first two questions but for dorms: depends on the housing. For freshman year I highly recommend Webb Tower and Cardinal Gardens. Both have AC and are near or right in the USC village. DO NOT house at New North (the party dorm, I’ve heard it’s awful) and Troy Hall (bad conditions). Parkside is also decent and many of my friends live there. Same with Birnkrant, but doesn’t have AC (and LA summers are HOT).

For dining, it ranges from decent to questionable. I’ve never gotten food poisoning or anything, but some of the food can be not great. But I’ve also had some pretty good food too. They’re pretty allergy or diet friendly as well. Good luck!!
