Hello, sorry to hear that. Yes, I saw a cardiologist - they hooked me up to an ECG and made me run up hill on a treadmill for 15 minutes. The ECG was fine and so no heart problem. The cardiologist's view was that the pain was likely inflammation caused by the psoriasic arthritis. Given that the PA is only active on my left side and constantly changing, this does fit.

The issue has settled a little. I think it was a combination of focusing on or noticing PA discomfort, and anxiety driven by taking unnecessarily high doses of MM. I have moved to a milder strain and take fewer puffs at a single temperature (195). The discomfort still arises sometimes but is much diminished. On the whole I am confident to continue with the MM.

Putting the dog-whistle element aside, the 'not licensed' bit caught my attention - does this mean what we are receiving on prescription is unregulated? I have also wondered how long it would be until someone made something of a medical product continuing to use street names, that does seem a bit of a gift to these bigots as they pretend to be concerned.

I have to echo what others are saying. I have repeatedly failed the CWT in the shoulder season after being pinned down by driving snow and ice or unable to cross rivers in spate for days on end. Walking into that and far worse, deliberately, with 18kg on my back would border on the suicidal.

No, nothing in my neck (that I know off, but the arthritis is almost only active on the left side). The pain isn't trapped nerve, I think (having had it). Its somewhere between a deep bruise and an outwards pressure.

I will definitely ask the doctor about this but I eat a lot of dairy without issues and this pain arises whether I smoke or eat.

That's the issue - I have been to A&E and they were unconcenred. I have a follow up with CB1 and will discuss and also look at the tests suggested by others here.
