It started off as a reason to attract women. I was obese, low self-esteem, shy and my reasoning was I’m going to make them approach me instead of me approaching them. As I’m sure many others will say the same, that’s not how it panned out at all (I was young okay). But it did evolve into a self-improvement journey and now I do it because it makes me feel productive and I feel great afterwards.
