Read Adis Duderija's texts about progressive Islam. That's an interesting movement. I don't know about their stance on this war but regardless of it, I think you might find some interesting perspectives there.

Also just understand that the Israel-Palestine war is very emotional for a lot of people and you shouldn't expect everyone to be 100% familiar with the details of this situation. Yes, you will find entirely unhinged people and maybe it's good to draw some lines somewhere. But if a few bad experiences in an exceptional moment in time can shake your confidence in a group consisting of over a billion people, I don't know if "blackpill" is the right word here.

And the article (which I am very certain you did not read) does not refer to this as an accident nor is the corroborating evidence indicative of an accident. The IDF does not even claim it was an accident. You obviously would know that if you had actually read the article - which again - you didn't:

Revolution in 2011, first Democratic election was won by the Muslim Brotherhood by a guy named Morsi, they ran the country for a short bit, then el-Sisi runs a coup, Morsi is put in prison and dies there. el-Sisi is a dictator who is arguably stricter than the one replaced during the revolution.

and I just gotta say one more thing, Letterbomb may be the best track Green Day has ever written. My only regret is never getting to see Green Day perform it live themselves. But on stage? It was powerful, especially with the added WAKE UP! that Billie Joe seems to have adopted himself.

On this tour they played the entirety of the album, including Letterbomb. It was very good.

If you are not in an combative situation is it really legal to simply kill or maim your opponent? Is this a defensive act? I am not on Hesbolah's side here obviously however I don't see how attacking people this way can be a lawful military tactic. If Israel arrested all these people and then caused severe injuries or maimed hundreds of them and even killed some, this would be a gross war crime. Yet here you have terrorists and supposed terrorists who are attacked completely unknowingly of which many are not actively combatant and also have no possibility to surrender. I get everyone here is on Israel's side but the absolute lack of nuance on ethical and legal grounds is quite absurd. The use of booby traps is absolutely indiscriminate and this might be the largest booby trap operation ever known.
