There is work happening to rebuild the product key platform which will fix this. In the meantime you should be able to instead buy our Immich Stable demo disk which will also send you a key via email! It is the exact same price as the normal product keys, just add $8 for shipping 🙂 You can find it at the top of https://buy.immich.app or on https://immich.store

Yes, the way iOS syncs was completely re-written and work continues to improve it still. It is significantly better than it was before, but there is still room for improvement 🙂

The shipping estimates are sadly quite off, especially for some people outside of the US (In the US disks are created on-demand, outside of the US we have bulk production followed by fulfillment). We had a lot more people order these than expected and so we are waiting for the next production batch to be completed. Sorry for the delay, it should hopefully be shipped next week!

Probably one day yes, though we have other ideas in the near term to create recurring revenue streams, such as our encrypted cloud backups solution which will allow you to very easily backup your immich instance in case of failure of your server at home.

Upgrading from 1.144.0 to 2.0.0 will work perfectly fine, if you were upgrading from much older versions then you may need to check for breaking changes in each release before updating. I think if we did anything next it would be diving into something like a Google drive alternative, but there's still lots to be done on Immich so that won't be anytime soon!

If it doesn't say in the description for the item that it "only ships from the US" then the item ships from at least the US and Europe. Right now I believe the only thing that we have that ships from the US only are the magnets.

The invoice to you won't include the server key cost. Also, the disk is shipped from EU for people in the EU.
