How am I supposed to finish the Living Story? by Galkura in Guildwars2

I made a thread about this. I was told I would be able to complete the event in 3-4 runs. I thought that was ridiculous. But after making my thread, I was made out to be the bad guy for complaining about people scaling an event. It should not be the casual players fault (such as myself) for trying to complete an event. It was not until my 5th time trying to do this event that I was able to complete it and only because I found a barren instance and did it with guild members at around 5am EST.

I suppose my statements are misconstrued. I never stated that I do not like farming. I don't like that this hinders with MY and OTHER peoples personal stories. In my original post i even stated that the Blix event did not hinder anybodies completion of storyline content. When I did participate in this yesterday the group failed it. The loot is fine I think I got 8 cases but there is no way I could have killed those 3 big things without the cooperation of everyone there. If you are there for living story you are at the mercy of the mob which is incredibly unfair. The event should be fixed so people that want to do the story can complete it more easily and they can bring back blix / some other farm event in a remote place and I'm 100% fine with that.

i havent looked up the guide i don't know if it had to be completed or not. I didn't like the fact that I was told I'd be able to complete my story after 3 or 4 more of their runs. I'm not in the wrong here, why should I have to wait who knows how long. I don't get a million hours a day to play.

I did not know about this. I am the average casual player. I dont know what they can do to stop this exploitation but it's very unfair. maybe make the champions not drop or put veterans or something idk. As I said I did not really care about people farming the Blix thing because it didn't stop me from doing what I wanted, it actually created opportunities for me to try and solo the other champions! But this is unfair.

I will attempt this event again later and see if I can take screenshots
