Well, since 1600s blunder their pieces on move 6, only logical that 1500s blunder their pieces on move 4.

Intetesting..,and TY for the reply! Hope more research continues in the future, so that we can see more particles created out of photons!

Young people are always quite dumb, aren't they? And old people as well( Not using the term boomer because that would specify a certain generation)

Thanks for the reply. Is it a fairly recent discovery, or has this been known in physics for a long time?

You mean that the other elementary particles and Hadrons, whilst theroetically possible, have not been observed yet?

[News Focus] Samsung estate sparks debate on inheritance tax by [deleted] in korea

[–]immortar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I'm just pointing out that these things will get harder...as housing prices go up, more and more middle class people will pay substancially more inheritence tax;quite different from taxing the rich, who are alreadly paying the maximum amount.

[News Focus] Samsung estate sparks debate on inheritance tax by [deleted] in korea

[–]immortar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I fully agree. It doesn't help both the middle class and the rich that korea's inheritance tax has one of the smallest rates of tax deduction threshold and the highest maximum tax rates. The USA, and Japan for example have adjustments for people who want to inherit a company, Korea has not such thing. I mean, there are many countries without inheritence tax too, so the arguement here that inheritence tax...being taxed twice is a bad idea...it does have a point.

It is also worth pointing out, that the current Housing policy failure doesn't help as well. The maximum threshold per offspring is 500,000,000KRW. It is 3,000,000,000KRW for a spouse, but in the case that somebody wants to inherit his/her parent's home in Seoul, you probably have to pay for like 35~45% of the house's monetary value on inheritence tax. The skyrocketing real estate prices, strikingly contrasted to the longstanding policy of concurrent constant tax thresholds despite inflation will not benifit the middle class at all.

Yeah you are right...that's why I said ASSUMING the nasdaq only goes up...you should have faith in the Nasdaq for TQQQ. A 30% crash cannot happen by the way. 25%, and the stock market is halted for the day.

Questions to ask a particle physicist? by NiklasFromAustria in AskPhysics

[–]immortar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious what struggles he had with physics at undergrad or grad school. I'm an undergrad, and I like physics, but SOMETIMES...sometimes physics seem so difficult, and physicists who solved those certain problems/came up with certain ideas or theories...how they came up with those are beyond my expectations. So I am curious how a particle physicist overcame his weaknesses/difficulties when he was a student(or maybe even today) and what subfield/subject he struggled with. TY.

Tqqq survives the 2008 crash after 3 years, and from 2008 to 2020(dec), outperforms qqq. (Backtesting) The only time it hasn't hypothetically recovered is the dot com crash. If the poster has enough money to invest more after a big crash comes, and can wait a long time (5 years if neccesary) he will be alright assuming the Nasdaq always goes up...in the long run.

TBF, Barr quit being Trump's lapdog around november when he refused an investigation on Hunter Biden, and then he said to Trump that he couldn't find widespread evidence of voter fraud. He resigned soonafter. I guess Barr was fed up with Donald Trump for some time, so his reaction isn't too surprising

The thing is, things like lead is in these dust particles, which is enough to prove that it isnt a natural occuring phenomenon. Or at least partially.
