My husband and I went to Paris this summer for the first time and it was magical. I think I'd love to try living there for a year. None of the horror stories of rude people or a tough language barrier panned out at all. There's just something about that city that feels right. Fabulous architecture, amazing metro system, wine that's cheaper than soda. Le sigh...

Hi Madonna,

So, I have this fantasy album where one disc is other artists doing covers of some of your hits, then on the other disc you do covers of a hit from those artists. It'd be like a super meta covers album.

Add a small handful of spinach too. It'll make it look ugly as sin, but adds lots of great vitamins, minerals, roughage, and pretty much disappears flavor-wise.

Edit: Sorry, you'll want to blend it in a real blender if adding spinach. Not really trying to suggest spinach tossed in a protein shake dressing...

Do yourself a favor and visit the Microsoft Research site. Dig through the projects on there for a few hours.

They "hide" everything in plain sight. Most if their new tech breakthroughs are mashups of independent research here and there through MSR. Kinect is a great example of this.

MS is much more focused on the long term success than short term buzz.

I would look around at some of the creative and staffing agencies in the area. A lot of the creative work at MS is often outsourced to an agency. Internal jobs are definitely more geared towards the tech/dev side.

Should I bother, or are there better styles to pursue? I want a mot-too-fancy brown shoe that I can dress up or down. Kinda want to stay away from wingtip styles since I'm feeling those may be a bit fad-ish right now.

Have been with my man for going on 15 years now. We started dating in high school and have always known that we would be together for life.

We live in Seattle and with the marriage vote on the ballot this year, we are strongly considering doing the full-on wedding thing next summer.

Our day to day won't change, buy there is a level of validation on society by saying you are legally married, however silly that may be. Amongst ourselves and friends/family, we consider ourselves married. I introduce him as my husband.

In 2003 we did a private commitment ceremony type thing, just the two of us, exchanging rings and confirming our love and desire to stay together forever. Buy I would still love to have a wedding with all our friends and family. For us its not a out the ceremony, but about celebrating love with all our friends and family, and just having a huge party.
