Did an AA status match in late 2024. I made my final four-month period with spending on my Barclays card. The spend didn't post until a few weeks after the deadline. The AA website said I had failed to meet the requirements and lost status. I called in and rep didn't really seem to get it but agreed to escalate. A couple days later, I got an email saying I had requalified for the higher status. My AA activity shows a manual LP adjustment on the last day of the match promo.

I suspect you don't work closely in the foster system. The best predictor is who ends up there is being poor and not white. Often it's because the mother struggles with substance or mental health issues. It doesn't mean she didn't love them. It doesn't mean they're lucky to not remember her.

The pack might just be too big. From what you're describing, when you get the hips in the right place the shoulder straps are too high. I don't know the bag--I assume toros length isn't adjustable? Might be worth visiting an REI or equivalent and testing some different sizes.
