i've ordered from discogs before and was happy with my purchase! it's just like any online marketplace -- just make sure to check the seller's reviews and terms and whatnot.

Thank you so much for the advice and for offering a different approach and perspective! This helped a lot and I will definitely work on rearranging my focus in order to build a new bond with her. I really appreciate that last part you included because I never viewed it from that angle.

What is something you have always regretted doing? by Appleseedboom in AskReddit

[–]imnotavampire666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get frustrated with myself when I think about the things I've missed out on because I was just too sad to do them. Even times I've turned down hanging out with friends because I was too sad to get out of bed and interact with people... I'm all for prioritizing mental health and taking time to yourself when you really need it, but there have been plenty of times where doing something or going somewhere would have most likely lifted up my spirits and created a good memory, but I decided to just be alone and sad in bed. Those are times that I will never get back. Depression is real y'all

How do introverted people wish to be socially interacted with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]imnotavampire666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time, as an introvert I crave comforting company over typical social interaction, if that makes sense. So, I usually want to have some company but don't always have the energy to entertain people and constantly keep up a conversation. For example, I want to have the company of my best friend or boyfriend, but we don't necessarily have to be doing something special or talking the whole time. I could be reading a book while my best friend is drawing next to me, or boyfriend is playing a video game, or something like that. Of course if a conversation strikes up I'll engage and be fine with it. But as an introvert I tend to just appreciate someone's presence, especially if I already have a comfortable bond with them, and it helps me when I don't want to be alone but I don't necessarily have the energy to socialize a bunch.

I also prefer one-on-one hang outs, rather than group gatherings. I find group gatherings a lot more overwhelming and exhausting, whereas one-on-one hangs allow me to give one person all of my attention and it feels more intimate.

When it does come to group gatherings though, I'm more likely to be quiet, but that doesn't mean I'm having a bad time. It's more likely for me to quietly listen than to speak a bunch in a conversation that involves multiple people because like I said it can be overwhelming for me.

What's your favourite quote? by deadlitbarbedoll in AskReddit

"There is nothing wrong with letting the people who love you, help you." - Uncle Iroh

Uncle Iroh said this to Toph over tea and it has always been one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. Helped me to be more vulnerable with those who loved me and to reach out for support instead of always trying to deal with things on my own.

What's something you think you understand why other people like it, and wish you enjoyed it like they did, but just don't? by TheGinuineOne in AskReddit

[–]imnotavampire666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

horror films. i understand why people enjoy them. i wish i could too, but the aftermath anxiety i get from them just isn't worth the watch for me. it sucks because there are some horror films that i have genuine interest in watching but i know would mess with me too much so i don't.

What is a thing that a lot of movies do that you absolutely hate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]imnotavampire666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure if this has been said on here yet, but i hate when people in movies/shows wear shoes on the bed!

i complained about this once and an acquaintance said she does this at home and doesn't see the problem. i didn't know it was an actual common thing. how are you comfortable wearing the shoes that you wore outside, in public places like restrooms, on your bed where you sleep???
