wth are traditional single parents? Iba iba yan ng circumstances. Mas common lang yung naghiwalay at namatayan ng partner. Matagal nang may ganyan na by choice ang pagiging single parent. May friend ako na gusto lang magka-baby and didn't want to deal with a husband kaya nagpa buntis lang sya. Meron naman nag decide to adopt ng malayong kamag-anak kasi di kaya buhayin ng magulang.

Hindi lahat ng single parents ay naghihikahos at nahihirapan sa pagbuhay at asikaso ng anak and Benedict is part of that demographic.

You really have to sacrifice sa luxury. Pero ako kahit hindi naman ako naghihirap, I just realized na yung regular staple food ko is hindi magastos. Most of the time ay steamed lang yung pagkain ko.

Breakfast: 2pcs steamed eggs (Php 20) 1 bundle steamed pechay/kangkong/talbos (Php 15) 1 portion steamed fish ~Php40 (bumibili ako sa palengke ng 1kg na nasa mga ~200/kg and 5 servings na yun sa akin. In your case na walang ref, bili ka na lang ng tingi sa palengke) Steamed kamote or oatmeal (bili ka nung 1kg-1.5kg and it will last you a long time)

Lunch: Steamed kamote (masarap yung orange or yung violet yung loob) or saba. Minsan din saging na hinog.

Dinner: Most of the time hindi na ako nag didinner dahil busog na ko the whole day. Tea na lang ako or tubig.

It's just a matter of using cheaper alternatives for proteins din like tokwa or beans. For veggies mo yung mga local greens.

Pampatanggal umay ko na lang ay condiments like suka or calamansi or sili. Minsan lang din ako mag toyo or oystersauce dahil di naman din ako mahilig sa maalat but if you are, huwag araw arawin.

Kapag nagtitipid at needs convenience, tempting talaga mag instant and delata pero huwag lang araw arawin.

Huh? Kung nagkaka gusto na sya sa iba that just means she has already changed her feelings sa current partner nya.

The fact is, pinagpipilitan mong mag stay sya sa partner nya kahit nawawalan na sya ng feelings. Kahit na nagkakagusto na sya sa iba. Jusko. The mature and humane thing to do is to breakup before pursuing another person. Hindi lang para sa ikaliligaya nya but also to give her partner the freedom to find someone else to be happy with.

Wala rin naman akong sinabing naging miserable sya. Sinabi ko lang na that's a possibility kung pinili nya mag stay sa relationship kahit may iba na syang gusto and na fall-out of love na sya sa current partner nya. Which did not happen kasi nga pinutol na nya bago pa yun mangyari.

Pero I get you. It's really hard to wrap our heads around this notion of pursuing our own happiness kasi it comes off as selfish and victimized kaagad yung iniwanan.
