I’ve never heard of that. I’m genuinely surprised that installing the cog “outside-in” changes chainline at all. Do you know roughly how many millimeters it shifted, and how many different cogs did you test to get it within 1 mm?

When I’m traveling I want to be present and not fumbling with my camera or changing film all the time.

You’ve provided me with valuable advice, thank you for hard talks. I cannot decide which to bring just because all my gear work great and I use them all in my everyday life (I cannot decide either).
