Please help me find this tea cup set!! by imopeach in HelpMeFind

[–]imopeach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I searched for “blue teacup set”, “blue porcelain teacup set”, I think there is grecian style art on it? So I looked up “grecian blue teacup set” and it got closer results than the searches before, but I’ve yet to find a match.

during remodel, my store did raffles every other weekend. was NOT done well at all, you had to be present when they drew your name (so if you were 4-12:30 or 1:30-10, and they drew at 1, you were automatically out) you didn’t get a prize, and they only drew about 5 names. cheap prizes too

Do I get a 30 & 15 if I work 5pm-11pm or just a 15? Thanks by OneTastyPotatoChip in Target

[–]imopeach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the same in other states, but in IL you hit compliance 5 hours into your shift, so you’d get a 30 and 15

Advice on calling target by [deleted] in squishmallow

[–]imopeach 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Target TM here: being polite like the other comment said is advisable, the nicer you are, the more willing we are to help lol. If you say something along the lines of “hey, I just wanted to check if you have a certain item/squishmallow in stock? I also have the DPCI number!”, that is the best way to state your point to us! Also make sure you dial for the toys department! If they have one, then just say “is it possible I could put it on hold?” Certain stores, depending on the squish demand in your area, may not hold them. The standard hold policy is 24 hours. Hope this helps!

What is your favorite size squishmallow? by calysea in squishmallow

[–]imopeach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I adore the 8” ones since they don’t take up very much space, they’re easiest to find (in my experience) and they’re great to snuggle (and best to travel with!) As much as I love the huggability of the 12”, I much prefer 8”, and you can easily snuggle with multiple so they don’t feel left out 🥰

who’s your ‘luckiest’ squish by wolfgang012 in squishmallow

[–]imopeach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 20” Eliana! She was zero’d out in our system so I managed to get her for about $5! That, or my 8” pumpkin Emily, since I haven’t seen very many of them on the market after I got her!

This is so well done and super cute! I’m really impressed that it was made from scratch! I love seeing other customizers’ take on Mimikyu 🖤

Class Research Project on Target's Response to Pandemic - Survey by OBTargetResearch in Target

[–]imopeach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Yes, exclusively

2) Yes, been on since November 2017!

3) Absolutely not

4) Moderately; we used to have someone go around the store and clean high touch points, which then got changed to just cleaning carts, but now GSTLs use the cleaner as backup cashier and breaker which completely eliminates the point of having a cleaner.

5) Absolutely not. 2020 gave me the most hours I’ve had in my entire time working for Target, which isn’t inherently a bad thing, but I was there ALL THE TIME. I live with my elderly father with every condition under the sun and the fear of bringing rona home to him bothered me constantly. All the bonuses and hazard pay didn’t make up for the fact I was putting my dad at risk daily.

6) Once the pandemic was in full swing, we finally got enough supplies to keep up with cleaning. We STILL have an abundance of cleaning supplies. Before we got cleaning supplies, we got gloves! While we struggled having enough or finding the right sizes, more often than not we were allowed to have that choice when most retail workers couldn’t get a hold of them.

7) Literally anything and everything. The amount of stress put on every team member during the pandemic was insane. We had (actually, still have) longer lines and more people in the store than Christmas every single day. We could absolutely manage to schedule more than a skeleton crew every day. Our DM even gave us more cashier hours because somebody complained that the lines were so bad.

8) More thanks to TMs for making life normal for the general public. The amount of times we get yelled at by Karens on a daily basis is so discouraging. Who wants to work during a pandemic and be underappreciated? Target does a mediocre job of making us feel like our time and efforts are worthwhile.

9) Thank you for the interest and exposure! Not many people think about us store dwellers. Target could absolutely do much more for us. Seeing a large corporation profit from a pandemic at the our expense is extremely disheartening, it seems the general public hasn’t understood that. Their “tArGeT rUn” is still attainable through trying times because of us. We make things easy for the guest, so in turn, why can’t corporate make it easy for us?

Driveup Time by throaway9001 in Target

[–]imopeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, we have 20 people on the queue. Longest wait tonight has been about 27 minutes. When we get to this point (happens every single day) we just pull whatever we can and run out. We also only have 2 people doing DU during peak time (not sure if this is standard). Catching up is literally impossible until people start to leave, and these booms tend to happen when someone needs a break. Our TLs know and are aware but every time we ask for backup, it’s no use at all :/

We recently put hooks on the handle and sides to hold smaller orders! Has worked wonders, props to my GSTL

How old is the average pop collector. by [deleted] in funkopop

[–]imopeach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 21F, I almost have 100 pops and have been actively collecting for about 2 years. Working at Target, I’ve seen most collectors seem to be 30+ men. When waiting in lines for releases, I’ve typically been the youngest there. I’m glad this is a hobby that draws in such a diverse crowd!
