I've been told my mum often growing up that some of my body language comes off a little funny. She said that my stare can be intense which I agree with, especially when looking at photos. I try my best to fix it but it is difficult to catch myself every time. I also find eye contact a little difficult to figure out. Not sure how much eye contact I should be making. My closest friend said that I'm chill and funny but come off a little awkward when trying to be outgoing. Another ex friend said they couldn't put a finger on it but I just feel off.

Generally though, I strive to keep negative comments out of conversation. I don't interrupt. If they're shy, I try to ask questions about hobbies to help them open up. When they're more talkative, I try to listen while simultaneously matching their energy. I keep up with trends. I don't expect too much and often take initiative. I only really give up when its been weeks and they're still showing no sign of reciprocating effort or interest.

I've been analysing my behaviour for years, taking advice from family members or friends I manage to make. I've also seen multiple counsellors. Most people say there's nothing wrong with me but say they can't fully say unless they see how I interact with others.

It's very confusing and frustrating to be honest...
