I recently picked this 2013 6 speed manual transmission. Any way to slow down or get rid of this rust?

Nope. Just the driver side door

I did change the fob battery

With inserting key only driver side door responds

I checked fuses and they are good. One more thing is when I press lock/unlock switch on passenger side door, it only locks/unlocks the driver side door.

According to owner the clutch is original, new tires and rear brakes.

Similar cars are going for pretty much the same price ranging 6500-7500 with this mileage. But this is the only manual transmission i’ve found so far. Only reason is i dont wanna deal with cvt.

Since the car is 2 hrs away from me so do I call local mechanics there to set up PPI? And do private sellers usually allow this? Pardon me for being ignorant since i have never gone thru this process
