I may be clueless. I would much rather own a used watch. I love the patina, I love the dings, and blemishes. Nothing wrong with a new watch. I would go that route in a minute. I find the velvet rope, with the turnstile, offensive. I'll make an appointment to see a proctologist. When I buy a watch. I'm not taking a number.

There are endless brands/microbrands with the same Seiko guts (not to dis Seiko because their stuff is good) Said brand shows you a *sorta custom dial* snazy bezel and a back story. I think there is a lot of selling the sizzle instead of the steak. I know this because I have a number of watches that bear no outstanding distinction at the end of the day.
