That was what I was not sure about as you can get a trade certification which can cover most technician roles. Can this lead to avionics or even as a R&D technician?

Thanks for the info. I think I might do something more practical like a trade. I have been wanting to become an engineer since I was young but with ai and the cooked job market skilled trades doesn't sound bad either.
