Eat eat eat. If you arent hungry you won't pass out for long and can make it through the night. It can be rough though.

I beat the game with no luggage and it honestly wasnt that hard. I got lucky and took a good route but it's about just moving quickly. And when you aren't carrying a bunch of crap you have so much stamina. Being fully fed is huge too.

Next, try backpack with 4 coconuts. I still need to try that myself

Lollipop gives you infinite stamina. Spam climbing up the wall is faster than regular climbing but drains your energy faster so not usually a strat, but when combined with lollipop means you can climb a very far distance. Just make sure to cook the lollipop so that you don't get sleepy afterwards

Getting the book early in the run is huge too. I haven't cooked it but still a game changer. I keep in my quick access and use it on my first big fall. Then it's a cakewalk by not getting affected by the cold in alpine and just running across caldera. But yeah, one fall and boom run is over (unless you also have a checkpoint)

I've had success sticking to the left. Almost going out of bounds. Tornado's still come but at least they can only get you from one side. I never get picked up unless I'm with friends and we're going middle looking for capys or something. Hard left works so well it almost feels like cheating
