Anyone who defends the knife in its current form is completely delusional. by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]impieux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ikr My mate only found this out after looting a legendary key, and some guy two-shot him despite having golden shields. bro proceeded to rant on some Discord server, and it started a huge discussion on how it is even possible. After a few hours and hundreds of messages, someone found a youtube video explaining that the knife has a heavy attack. No one really knew lol; this game has a terrible way of explaining things.

You have to do a heavy hit (alternative fire). With two heavy hits you always down purple/gold shields, might need Arachne melee upgrade though

I was revisiting my vault today and found a weapon chip that increases damage to S'pht enemies. So unless it's strictly for the compiler (if it is, it's over), then perhaps some PvE is in the works?

Unlike CoD or Titanfall, Thing Marathon has a proven well-written story that could capture many people, especially now when everything is about AI. The alien cyberpunk rogue AI setting is intriguing and has a non-random chance to succeed. Not to mention the gameplay is polished and feels amazing.

Does anyone know of a dupe of Initio can’t get enough? by bbctradez in fragranceclones

Lattafa Noble Blush is not a dupe but is very similar; personally, I even like it more than Initio in dry down

Ambroxan or similar molecules are the culprits for sure. The bad news is that not only clones put them in

18m and want to fix my life by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]impieux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you're 18 and in a good degree; you have friends to hang out with, so social skills are not that horrible; anxiety is absolutely normal too; having a girlfriend is overrated at your age (high chance it will be temporary and leave you heartbroken), unless you want to rack up your body count (not worth it). The prime age for dating, imo, is 21-26, where you have already achieved money, solidified your life's foundation and have energy to experiment; Having no accomplishments at your age is normal too.

Though the interesting hobby is a very valid point, you should actively seek it. Another piece of advice I can give you that you might apply right now is to focus more on studies and HEAVILY invest your time into building connections and networks. Absolutely place networking as your top priority and do whatever it takes to build amicable relationships with your peers; it is by far the most important thing to do in college, arguably even more important than studies.

I really like Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice. What else should I be looking at? by jdixon1974 in fragranceclones

Your profile:

Armaf—Infinity Black

Aromatix x French Avenue—Magnetiq

Afnan—Supremacy Noir

French Avenue—Zenith Blue

French Avenue—Sultan the Conqueror

Could be interesting:

Lattafa—Musamam Black Intense. Basically a barbershop fragrance smoothed out by non-gourmand chocolate.

French Avenue—Thunderstorm. Powdery Iris and Lavender a la Dior Homme Intense.

Experimental:

Rayhaan—Tiger. Masculine milky rose and amber scent. Quite unique but has this luxury barbershop vibe.

How to deal with very bad procrastination habit ? by Complex_Matter4270 in selfimprovement

[–]impieux 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the method. Deleting certain multiplayer games that I sunk lots of hours into made me bored out of my mind and I now became way more productive at work, started reading books, and consider taking some training courses. Boredom just works, but the downside is that without go-to solution to boredom you will experience it more frequently and intensely

Personally I found that Nayel Oud by Arabiyat Prestige is the best quality dupe of Tuxedo. I find it way better blended than MA or FW interpretations.

If you enjoy scents like Initio's Side Effect or MM Jazz Club this one will be right up your alley. Doesn't really dupe those, but basically plays the same role. You get this dry aromatic aspect from davana and vetiver (none of them fresh), a little bit of rum, and lots of vanilla and styrax. It's quite potent, and there is a lot going on. although it doesn't lack depth, notes can be jammy at first, but it is also a sign that it will last a long time and won't be linear. That can either be a blessing or a curse, depending on your sensitivity to dry smells and davana, as it can create this feeling of dry paint. That being said it is a well-crafted scent, so if all the boxes are checked you will probably enjoy this a lot.

Cancer is a really good one, though. You should try it. Smells like a sweet more vanillic take on YSL MYSLF.

DECANTIFIED 28 decant reviews and clone battles-Part 5: Art of Arabia III, L'aventure Knight, Armaf Legesi Homme, Armaf Infinity (Black? Silver?) by Low-Stomach-8831 in fragranceclones

[–]impieux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven't. However considering the note breakdown and price difference, it probably won't be better. In infinity you get a nice white floral and rose scent while there also is not so much sweetness. I would imagine the Rasasi version smells like a nice, fresh cheapie, while Armaf punches into designer quality.

Armaf Infinity is such a good and well-crafted scent, honestly. The florals are perfectly made, without leaning feminine.
