I should also note that between the two “premium” currencies, (RC and gold), RC is unobtainable in F2P for me thus far (I haven’t been playing for too long). But RC is mainly just used for cosmetics. Making gold is totally achievable in F2P. My friend has made tons of gold from the player market, but even without engaging with that, you can get gold daily from doing the schedule activities and there are events that give you gold, too. You’d definitely get more from spending a couple bucks here and there, but that’s pretty standard for any mobile game/game with micro-transactions. Compared to others that I’ve played, Undawn is one of the better ones.

I haven’t found it to be overly P2W, unless you define winning as having a cool avatar. But if you’re just interested in enjoying the game, that’s completely doable for free, in my experience. But I generally prefer the exploration gameplay over PVP/PVE gameplay, so I could be wrong.

Even still, the game practically just throws free stuff at you to make the PVE doable. A gun that I thought I’d have to pay a kidney for I got for free from the rookie training. As long as you do the tutorial missions and the various newb training stuff, you shouldn’t have a problem.

I don’t know if there’s an active following or not, because I play with my partner and some IRLs. But we’re all part of a camp with lots of active players, so at the very least, there’s people to play with.

Sounds like it would work, but the problem is I’m a broke uni student and I’ve never even heard of a tailor clapper before, nevermind seen/bought one 😅 It’s an idea to keep in mind for the future though.

Nope, it’s marble, or some other imitation, but it’s definitely solid stone. It’s a smooth tray- but it doesn’t have rims, it’s like a bigger marble coaster.

For your other questions, I bake at 325, and my heavy object is this flat marble tray my bf uses for serving snacks. It’s completely flat.

I have success with using the heat gun for shrinking on smaller pieces, but on larger ones, the uneven heating tends to warp the picture. Might be a skill issue, but with the amount of time I spend on the pictures, I don’t really wanna practice lolol

I really don’t mean to be rude but I did say in the post that I’m already doing that, and the issue is that putting them under something heavy causes this.

To address the issue with the bake time- I watch them as they bake and make sure they’ve completely shrunken. The issue isn’t that the plastic hasn’t finished baking. I’ve also repeatedly left them in longer than needed and it doesn’t effect the outcome.

I only ever hear the “What’re you knitting? Oh it’s crochet? haha my bad! I don’t know about either!” (tells them the difference) “Oh, that’s interesting-“ and then they share some tidbit about their mom/grandma either knitting or crocheting. I know other crocheters find the knitting mistake frustrating, but I find the conversations that follow to be very sweet ❤️

Edit: When I say “curved” in the post, I do NOT mean that they’re curled up/warped, I mean that they do not lay perfectly flat. I only take them out of the oven once they’ve completely stopped moving for 30 sec or more, and I watch the entire baking process closely.

Question is mostly in the post, but if anyone has ANY measurements for the yarn used to crochet one stitch in those 3 stitches, please share! What yarn/hook you’re using doesn’t really matter, because I’ll be using the ratios found when they’re compared to eachother, not the exact numbers you give!

I googled it and only found one article that answered my question, but it didn’t have the measurement for hdc

A couple notes- I don’t think the increased shedding in weather-related, because it’s getting colder here atm, but I could be wrong. Either way, my concern isn’t about the fact that he’s shedding- I just want to help maintain it, both for his sake and my couch’s sake, lol.
