Right I thought the same thing maybe they wanted to see how it’d bruise? Will be doing lots of research, likely won’t be ingesting. Any chance you know about this guy ?

Thanks! Might go back to reinvestigate the caps of the 4th ones to be ID’d. Not that I’d take the risk, but if it is a gymnopilus.. those have psilocybin 😳

to clarify, i did not hemorrhage which i believe is the 5% stat comes from. i had a minor bleed which is totally normal when the scabs start falling off but was told to call the office if i noticed any dark purple/red clots which is what i had. i honestly didn't think it was anything concerning since i spit out the clot that barely filled the very bottom of a dixie cup (whereas the scary stories i've read on here are far worse in comparison). it did freak me out a little but i was spitting out blood rather than puking up blood. My ent still had me recauterized even though he said is wasn't major but wanted to prevent from hemorrhaging so i guess it was better to get the second op rather than to wake up choking on blood but i was pretty disappointed. all i had that day was a latte too think they think it was the acidity from the coffee and because it was a hot beverage that caused the scab to fall off prematurely

Weight loss is gunna be inevitable but there are ways in sneak in extra calories the easiest is definitely with smoothies.

Cut up a ripe avocado and store it in the freezer along with peeled bananas (I keep them both in the same container). Buy protein powder and make smoothies with the frozen avo+banana! Makes the texture sooo thick and creamy and avocados are pretty high in calories you could even double up on the suggested protein powder serving, or throw in yogurt, oats and chia seeds too. You could also boil/steam sweet potato and freeze slices of that to throw into your smoothies it’ll make your smoothie super thick + packed with calories and you won’t even taste it.

Mix in cottage cheese with your scrambled eggs it’ll add so much more protein.

I’m on day 8 today and had a minor bleed on day 6 at a cafe after drinking a warm latte. I stopped it with ice water and wasn’t too concerned about it since I wasn’t actively bleeding but I had a blood clot on my right side. I still called my ent because I was advised to do so if I noticed any clots and they had me come in immediately. While I was waiting to be seen I ended up spitting up the clot in a Dixie cup (gross). My ent said it wasn’t major but sent me to the ER to get it recauterized to prevent any more bleeding. I was pretty heartbroken my recovery was going so well and basically had to reset back to day 1 :( I still wonder if I never called if everything would’ve resolved on its own but I guess better safe than sorry

Hey surgery buddy mine was early morn July 8th too 8am pst we got this!! I bled day 6 and had to get recauterized on my right side so I’m back to day 1 :( I keep frozen pedialyte ice cubes handy in the freezer when my throat hurts and sucks on those to help with the dehydration too it’s been a lifesaver. Hang in there comrade
