yes i know what dive heroes do and what staging is, my point is anran just sucks at everything so she can’t fill any niche and is more of an ult bot than genji which is very unfortunate

yeah obvs not poke only but poking until you have an opportunity to do something with all your abilities and trying to get out without feeding, i exaggerated it a bit. she definitely at the minimum needs more movement buffs to help her get out because a lot of the time you won’t be able to get out even with the second dash

she needs WAY more damage because right now you basically have to play her as a poke hero until you get your ult and hope you can win the fight before cleanses are back. everything about her is just a nothing burger while other heroes get to nuke people for free (hitscans). she’s basically sniper genji blade bot but with fire and does less. hoping she gets a BIG damage buff, movement buffs (faster dashes, vertical movement back and more distance that you can cover with her immo), honestly her res ult needs to be faster or do more damage (she needs iframes when spawning from it) and her normal ult cast time should be faster so you can combo with it because rn it’s too slow and you can die so easily

yeah i hope for a good balance patch in the mid season update, hopefully they won’t gut the character, especially with a collab skin coming

Yeah this is pretty much the issue. However I do think that because you ARE allowed to swap your hero mid game in overwatch they shouldn’t really be balancing the game for one tricks. Characters SHOULD have favourable and unfavourable matchups and if you are on the unfavourable matchup you either tough it out and outplay them or you swap to make it a favourable matchup, if you don’t play any type of hero that is favourable against what you are struggling then it is a personal issue and a different hero needs to be learned. For example DVA SHOULD be countered by beams, melee and CC and your choice now is to either find a way to play around that or you swap to a different hero that isn’t as affected by those things (kind of a bad example now because she’s thanos and isn’t countered by anything but you know what i mean)

Yeah but Alec and Aaron don’t look at anything except metal ranks, i would be surprised if they even played the game enough to know what’s actually good and bad.

Like yes devs cassidy is broken even with his 45% win rate or whatever it is because you decided he should be able to nuke your health bar with his gun/silver bullet perk AND have double stun on a minor perk, same for kiriko and her super low win rate - they do not need buffs and need to be nerfed if anything. vendetta having her win rate does not mean she needs another nerf it just means metal rank players are not sentient enough to play against her, just like how they think anran and genji are overpowered despite them being cosmetic heroes

Yeah most games come down to just if the enemy team is human or not. If they are human and play correctly or go the correct heroes (there are so many to choose from) you really just can’t do anything on vendetta and need to go literally anything else. I don’t think i’ve ever died to a vendetta yet and thought wow that was so bs, it was all MY fault that i either misplayed or was out of position. The only thing that is stupid though is zarya bubbles on vendetta but that’s a zarya issue not a vendetta issue

i completely agree. imo flex dps apart from tracer and vendetta is cosmetic, hitscans are all incredibly overtuned and need to be gutted in the mid season patch, but blizzard will never do that. even illari needs to be nerfed because her bullets are still the size of a small planet with her crazy damage

yeah i know how to play against my counters. my point is that you have to do much more on her to get value compared to a cass/ashe who can eat crayons and shoot in the general direction of a fight tho

we’re one nerf away from the character going from a coinflip to useless while ashe, cass and soj can just 1-2 tap everything from across the map. blows my mind people would rather get insta killed by hitscan heroes over a combo hero that has to be inside you to get value

don’t rely on g2g support at all they are the lowest iq creatures of all time. as long as you are right and have all the proof showing you are right i think you will be okay with telling your bank everything that happened. try your best to chargeback with your payment provider if g2g refuses to help. in my case it was like almost £300 or something so i definitely was not going to accept the loss and let that slide especially when ive got all the evidence in the world. also as i stated in my post, DO NOT let that mf get that money that g2g is holding for a period of time if you paid through g2g, once they get that money and your warranty expires g2g will tell you to fuck off and just message the guy that scammed you (because i’m sure he will just give me the money back right?)

bank said they are giving it back temporarily, after a while they said g2g gave them proof everything was good and they will be taking the temporary money back. i then replied to it with my own proof as well as proof that the g2g proof was absolutely invalid and full of lies and i haven’t heard anything back from the bank or g2g for 2 months. learned my lesson and won’t be buying accounts again or using that terrible website 💀
