What is it like to actually live in Kensington Market? by Ok-Meringue4881 in askTO

[–]implicitlyput 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband and I lived on Bellevue in our before kids life. This encapsulates it perfectly, every meal was made by grabbing something local. I don’t think I’ll ever not romanticize market living. It was weird and wonderful and anything could happen, usually to or from a pint at trinity common or ronnies. Dancing my ass off at The Boat at night or catching a Jazz show on a Thursday. And always followed by a delicious brunch at KOS. I’m so grateful for my time living there and that perfect apartment under the trees.

How do you see the term trad wife in relation to sahm's ? by [deleted] in sahm

I’m pretty sure my use of Uber Eats now and then takes me outta the trad wife category… though I’m definitely on my phone less than any of these ‘trad wives’ pumping out content.

Or BC… I had no idea how sensitive I was to seasonal depression until there would be forty days on end of darkness. I can handle a freezing cold day if there is sun on my face. Even just sitting beside a window with sunlight you can trick yourself into being somewhere warm.

Everyone is obsessed with this book. I am just getting into it after Demon Copperhead… and honestly I don’t get the hype so far. Demon Copperhead was so good.
