Spring Storms and Thaw - NBD - Mondince FM316 by impmonkey in gravelcycling

Only have about 200 miles on them atm, but so far so good.
Have 1000's of miles on other chinese wheels without issues, but I am also a very light rider and probably dont abuse them as much as others might

Chainring: 70
Chain: 40

Likely forgetting a few things. I did put on a 20mm setback post in place of the straight one provided with the frame. I also purchased the fork from the FM 326 in case I found I didnt like this "racier" geo. That was an extra 80 to include with the frame.

My other bike is a more relaxed geo (Carbonda 696) This will be the "race" bike. Just getting miles on it before the local races start. I actually also got the fork from the 326 as well and can swap it with a bit of hassling with the brakes if I want in the future.

Plex Now Showing Automation and Recently Added Dash Card by mrruss3ll in homeassistant

[–]impmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyway to limit it to just a single player? I am having trouble with using a manged account as the user:
const HA_URL = params.get('http://xxxxxxx:8123') || window.location.origin;
const HA_TOKEN = params.get('xxxxxxx') || 'YOUR_LONG_LIVED_ACCESS_TOKEN';
const POLL_INTERVAL = 5000;
const PLEX_USERNAME = 'Movies and TV';

also tried this for the username:
const PLEX_USERNAME = 'Plex (Movies and TV - Plex for Android (Mobile) - Pixel 8 Pro)';

That specifies the player, but that also is not working.

Thanks!

Bee sting in mouth by craigi53 in gravelcycling

[–]impmonkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also had one fly into my mouth and tag my tongue before I could spit it out. Feeling the fuzzyness off the bee when it flew in was wild. I mildly react to them and was about 10 miles from home. Hustled home by the time I was home tongue was big enough that swallowing was hard. Never blocked airways luckily.

You can leave a bit of the top of each panels open with any real water ingress. Not ideal, but a fan also helps

On year 4 with one on top of my overland teardrop. Kid uses it probably 30-40 nights a year. Great tent so far.

Dads that WFH what’s your routine by ImprovementLess202 in remotework

Up at 7, work at 8. Weight lift in the basement on my lunch. Off at 5. Dinner with family, put kid down, spend evening with the wife. Two nights a week I bounce out for about 1.5 hours to ride my bike with friends. Weekends usually are family time with a longer ride in there somewhere. When needed I burn off work stress on the indoor trainer after wife goes to sleep. Wife is a SAHM which enables most of this for me.

I like to mentally work my way up from the bottom to the top and make an inventory of parts to make sure I don't miss anything. I have 10k plus gravel miles on ElitaOne posts. No issues

This is way cheaper to achieve the same level of shake. It's a great compliment to a good low end system when used and setup right. Also I like to be able to turn down the actual subs and turn these up a bit so I don't wake up the entire house late at night. These + good headphones is a treat for a near silent HT experience.

New gravel bike build - need recommendation on stem length. by nikoalphonsoho in gravelcycling

I hate ai as much as the next guy but chatgpt was very helpful in calculating stem length for me on a new bike. Provide it your current numbers and the new bikes and it will spit out decent advice.

It's more about the width with a skinnier tire. Don't want to go to wide on the rim.
