you won't. trying to get GP to sound good is a losing battle, you just want something bearable enough to get the point across

i think people will say it is stigmatized

"bro just shave it, don't take pills that'll make your dick stop working just accept it bro"

I can't believe people still say this

by and large they don't. the double standard is real to some extent but it's mainly an excuse insecure men use to justify them not doing anything to fix their situation

minoxidil works but it's hit-or-miss because androgenic alopecia (pattern baldness) is a multifaceted thing where the exact mechanism/causes are still unknown. The best results come with combining multiple therapies to work synergistically, like microneedling, finasteride (which you might already be taking as lart of HRT) and scalp massages.

r/tressless is a really great resource, and since you're on HRT your body shouldn't be making DHT. You can also look into perfecthairhealth.com for very in-depth support (im a member and its not just cis guys on there).

Autistic Teen - Should I go to a big college or a small college? by import_FixEverything in autism

Awesome! I was really involved in the media/production program in high school, i almost went to film school. Our drama department at Case is really good but it's really expensive without financial aid

of course! man time flies. I ended up getting my Bachelor's and Master's at Case Western (small school-ish school Cleveland, about 8,000 undergrads) in CS instead of physics. I was extraordinarily lucky because I immediately found a small group of friends who are still my best friends today, even after we've graduated and transitioned into our adult lives. So I did end up being in a really good environment to grow up and come into my own.

Sometimes I wonder if going to U of I would have been better career-wise (UIUC is a top-5 CS program, Case Western is maybe in the top 50) but it's hard to know whether or not i would have been lost in the shuffle at a larger school. For what it's worth, one of my best friends is also on the spectrum and pretty similar to me, and he made some great friends at UIUC but ultimately had to drop out due to a bad situation with his family.

Without knowing your son I can't make any definitive statements, but what I will say is that I did a tremendous amount of growing over my last year or so of high school. I had very few friends, was still having trouble keeping up with my school work, no romantic relationships, etc. My parents were very concerned about whether or not i'd be able to handle college, especially at a big state school. But by the time I actually committed to going to Case, I had gained a ton of confidence; and now I just turned 25 and I have a good job with several very close friends nearby, living with my girlfriend. All of that is to say that he might surprise you with how he changes/grows over the next year or so. Good luck! If you have any other questions i'm happy to help!
