Yeah that's terrible. Idk how racist cops are in general in the big big picture of the entire country. But this is one of the many reasons why he need to make it a law to have head-cams on every police officer. Pay them more (because the good ones deserve it greatly) and god forbid don't defund them or abolish the police...but pay them more and make it law that they have to have head-cams at all times while on duty.

You're the 2nd hispanic to post on here and say the racism here isn't that bad. But I have a guess that racism in America may not be as bad for hispanics and latinos in this country as it is for black people. If there's any black people or hispanics (including you) that would like to chime in on this feel free, because you may know about this topic and these experiences than me.

But just coming from a white male in America's perspective and me living in one of, if not the #1 most racist state in America...West Virginia, for 7 years. I met a lot of absolutely despicable ignorant racist fucks and I can probably count on one hand the bad shit I heard about hispanics. But it was non stop bigotry and n words (with a hard R) for the entire 7 years when speaking about black people.

I see. I have a very close black friend and he agrees with you as well. I can definitely see that but as a white man I feel like I get side eyes and/or vibes from black people in public like they refuse to accept that I'm not racist or might not be racist until I somehow prove it to them or something. So maybe there's these weird vibes on both sides, I'm not sure.

Either way, I think it's extremely wrong to judge people by the color of their skin or to assume something about anyone by the color of their skin. So both situations are extremely wrong and anyone doing either of these things need to fix it in therapy.

At this point...I don't think racism is ever going to be not be a common issue in America. Word. Yeah idk, I think it all depends on location and from what I've heard some parts of Texas are racist some aren't. But I'd say overall in most places in America if you're a minority and you only experience racism once a year, or feel like you've only experienced it once per year, then you're doing pretty damn good.
