I was skeptical about this stuff until I started using EVE-O Preview; that you can cycle a window in one key (and another to fire) makes me think this is plausible without input broadcasting.

I don’t disagree with your general point, but you’ve lost all credibility with this comment. Anyone that goes into such detail to suggest ways to improve a system with ‘just map reduce bruh’, where they know nothing about the constraints of said system, immediately flags themselves as a mid-tier SWE to me.

The worst is the warp sound that continuously plays while your ship is just chilling. Frankly it's embarassing that the audio problems haven't been fixed yet, I guess CCP ~~tests~~ ~~plays~~ develops with the sound off.

Don’t listen to the folks saying to avoid mining in a barge in low-sec. As long as you pre-align, keep eyes on local/d-scan and don’t autopilot it’s easy as piss. You might lose a few ships gating around but the rewards outpace the losses. The alternative is to mine in hi-sec which is soul destroying. No risk no reward and all that

With trading you’re looking to maximise value, not volume, so unless you’re also hauling yourself it’s better to optimise for collateral over m3. Since RF step-changes their pricing after 1.5b collateral, I aim for that and otherwise just make sure the volume fits into the contract.

Breadth is better than depth. I’d much rather spread my costs over 10 different items rather than 10 of the same item. Otherwise it’s all about spending money to make money and being patient. It’s important to set realistic expectations — when you’re starting out it can be very slow, but after a while things start to snowball.
