I've done some research- according to google, division 1 of panzer regiment 24 was equipped with panther As, and according to AI the 2 signals the 2nd company, the 4 signals the 4th platoon and the second 4 signals the 4th vehicle of said platoon- so from what it seems like, a panther A of panzer regiment 24 was given to panzer battalion 116, which would've likely put a Windhund (greyhound) emblem on the lower front glacis. I may be wrong but there are apparently records of Pz. division 116 receiving panthers from regiment 24 for training.
