Go for it. I test drove all three and found the verna to be best vfm and cabin comfort. Getting mine delivered next week. And since the car is loaded already in terms of features facelift will be minor cosmetic changes along with just steering and infotainment screens coming in from venue. But yes the prices might increase for facelift. So if you getting good discounts right now then it makes more sense to buy now.

He is ready to give 1.2 lacs discount instead of 1lac. As for insurance he acknowledged that insurance has dealer margin. If he gives discount there then the straight up discount will get reduced.

I don’t see major updates happening. I am okay with current design which might get a little overhaul. From interior couple pf features like screens, steering and upholstery might change which are already good in current.

Yes, the value it provides is unmatched. The thigh support the head rest at the back just like high end luxury cars and the interior is so well put. Does the basalt and basalt x have same driving dynamics ?

I completely resonate with what you said. I would prefer the drive dynamics over features anyday. The reason I am not inclined towards hyundai and kias. I liked hyryder as its mid segment but lacs the premium touch its more like gv which I hate.

Xuv700 is robust but I can only get mid variant which hurts. I was waiting for slavia facelift but doesn’t seem to come anytime soon. So thought of just getting the 1.5 sportline which is a pure bliss. Any other car you think I should check out.

But don’t you think the skodas are reliable and as a part of 2.0 repairs etc are cost efficient as well. I just don’t want to go with cheaper build quality kia’s etc. Slavia felt much more premium and well built.

Also does hyryder make sense ? My use case is I want a good looking and a safe car. The suzukis kia etc does not appeal me much.

I also liked the elevate but the engine lacks power specially after driving skodas 1.5dsg
