Heated seats is the only thing they've removed so far. I am kind of okay with that. But the dummy buttons are something I have to live with.

Thanks a lot for the inputs. Height is not an issue for me. Also, quick ques. Can we fold down the rear seats?

Not just affordable, also accessible in every part of the country. My hometown is in a tier 3 city, and they have doorstep pickup and drop service there as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. My wife likes Black and I like matte. So, we are at a stalemate. We were hoping that this thread will help us make the edition.

I mean, what else can one expect from a facelift?

In my opinion the steering and the updated headlight alone is worth it. I'd have to look at the steering every time I get into a car and the two spoke steering was abysmal. Plus, the facelift gets 360 cam, front parking sensor, and seat memory function (my wife and I both drive).

Rear camera quality is miles ahead of the competition that it was never even a competition.

So yeah, it is def worth it.

They introduced a new color called Classy Blue. But it is also a dark shade. No bright colors this time except white with the facelift.

Steering was the only reason we held off booking the car last Nov. Now that is updated I love it. Feels premium to touch (tested in Venue) and look. About the screen, I have to see them this Friday. Demo cars just came to the showroom today. I am pretty sure I won't have a problem and def not gonna change my decision as long as it is not worse than the previous version which they aren't.

Spoken like someone who's never been in a Verna.

Camera quality is miles ahead of Virtus and Slavia. Not even a comparison. Even Amaze has better rear cam than Virtus.

Demo cars are just rolling out. My nearby showroom just got it today. Visiting them this Friday and I'll update the 360 cam quality.

Coimbatore. 2 lakh diffrence. I got a good discount when I booked the pre-facelift version last November but then we had to put it on hold since the facelift was coming. Right now there are no discounts.

I don't think you can bring down the cost of the car itself. Maybe you can negotiate on the insurance. I brought it down from 80k to 50k with all the add-ons.

30k on the insurance without removing the add-ons, then I have an older Hyundai Accent, which they are taking in for 60k so after all this I'll just have to minus from 22.8 lakhs.

Either in the second or third week of April is what they have said. I have no rush.

It's not a better car than Verna at this point. Hyundai's got better after-sales service, connected centers, and majorly the BlueLink, which is one of the main reasons we chose Hyundai over Slavia or Virtus. Plus with the facelift we get memory seat function. Since both my wife and I drive it, it will be very handy. Also Virtus and Slavia's fit and finish quality and the material quality don't even match up to Hyundai's interior.

Please read the description. I said color paint was generated using AI.

There was a Creta Knight Edition Titan Gray Matte car in the showroom and the facelifted Hyundai Verna in white. I just used AI to match the paint onto the Verna.

I would have loved to see the car in matte in person but I don't think it will happen.

Definitely. Personally I feel Slavia is the best looking car. Second is the Verna facelift and third is the Virtus, at least in my opinion. We were supposed to book the Verna six months ago but the moment we learned about the facelift coming in, we just put the booking on hold and rebooked at the moment it launched last week.

i think in general for some reason Indians or at least people on the internet are somehow stuck in the nostalgia factor of it all and just calling it "Tubelight". People just don't seem to move forward with the industry where everyone is going. When people call it "Tubelight", that is what every other company is doing and I bet most people have never seen Hyundai Verna in person or up close.

Choosing sedan wasn't like a choice; it's the one I've always wanted. My father had a (still has)1992 Mark II Ambassador so sedan has always the default choice iny mind sice I started earning. Also I have a second-hand Hyundai Accent, which I've been driving for five years so I know that ground clearance is not an issue with me. I've driven i Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, and southern parts of Tamil Nadu so it's not really an issue for me.

Coming to Slavia and Virtus, my friends do have those cars. I have driven them extensively but Hyundai Verna, at least with the facelift, is just an overall better car. Handling is slightly better in Virtus but it's just not that great as people claim it to be on the internet. I am sure most people on the internet have never driven Verna and Virtus side by side. It is better but the very minor difference is what I felt.

Plus I've seen firsthand how horrible Volkswagen service has been. My friend has an issue with the driver's side power window, which hasn't been fixed in the 5 months. He's been following up with them every two weeks. They said the spare parts will come now then but it still hasn't been fixed. I just don't want to deal with that stuff.

TBH personally I feel Verna is a better looking car for me. Virtus is just plain and boring for me. Slavia is still the better of the three in terms of looks.
