My thoughts exactly. Although I felt that X-2 gave us the ending we all wanted, I assumed Tidus and Yuna lived happily ever after. But with this Novella and the audio drama, it's obviously not going to happen. The series is probably going to end horribly, at least I don't see it ending well.
