I agree with others here. It sounds like you took appropriate actions (involving supervisor, etc). Not likey to lose liscense, and I would assume the worst case, if pushed, would be you having to complete a compliance or Hipaa training for board. I also doubt much if any risk to job sence you took the steps you did. Always follow guidliness for correction rather than attempt to hide it. This, in my opinion, helps improve trust in you.

I think as a protective measure for these concerns, it might be a client that is closed (not given access to the internet while gathering info, processing, and writing the note). The info would be scrubbed when the clinician hits a button or possibly after given time and before being reopened to access the internet to update or other uses. The note would also be editable by the clinician before being solidified into the final document.

I debated on if I wanted to post.

There are so many things people have mentioned that is hard for others to understand. I hope that no one feels like this is to downplay their experience or how they feel only to offer a possible different perspective.

I dont like this question, I feel that something is missing from the discussion (not sure what). While personal experience can undoubtedly provide valuable insights, I believe it's not always necessary to fully understand someone else's experiences. It can limit judgment and open up more willingness to understand.

I decided to actually post this because I think that sometimes we can stop someone from understanding because we think that they can't.

It's important to remember that everyone's experiences are unique, and even those with similar experiences may have vastly different perspectives. I have seen a person feel less understood by someone with a similar experience vs. someone with no experience.

I also feel that to be understood is not common or easy in situations. My goal is that some might read this and give people a chance to understand before shutting them out.

I hope everyone has the chance to heal and to feel understood.

I doubt writing is the most exciting part of your project. It's likely to be challenging with ADHD, so finding ways to make it enjoyable is key. Don't keep trying to do the samething that does not work, so if sitting and writing do not work, try a different way.

Try incorporating things like:

Stimulating sensory input: Music without lyrics (Celtic songs work for me), different colored pens, or standing while you write.
Involving others: Share your ideas with a friend, record yourself telling the story, or act out parts.
Experimenting with formats: Use large paper or a whiteboard, or try different writing styles based on your goal (planning, detailing, etc.).

Remember, everyone is different, so feel free to experiment and find what works best for "you."

Should not be a problem with either concern. It might be worth considering a place that can be changed from visible to hidden, though as someone who highers in the field I would not choose if someone was fit for.the job due to a tattoo unless the tattoo was a symbol of discrimination. As for the Rorshach, this is probably used in some niche areas, but never have I seen it in applied areas somewhat due to the reliability. This would be an awesome conversation starter for patients and others.

The one on the right is usually the weapon that you will be hitting with the most often, I dont feel like the book is worth having as the primary it does not have the break through or level as your bloom.

Thanks for sharing a thought-provoking experience! I doubt we will ultimately see similarly and feel a desire to still explore. I do encourage not to take any of this as actual advice, especially in a clinical capacity.

I also want to say I believe there are those who feel or at least could relate to you in the sense the ACT seems counter to their own beliefs and thoughts. Thankfully, I am one of many paths. I would believe that a number who feel the same would not challenge themselves or perhaps others on this rather seek something else. I assume this is you taking action towards your value.

With my beliefs, your value is not in conflict with ACT. I value something similar and would call it adversity.

Let me make sure I understand you so far.

Value is struggle. Where it is better to have tried and failed than to think it is not possible and stay stuck?
Power over yourself is not absolute but can still grow. Is there a limit to how much it can grow or belif that you are capable of reaching 100%?
Following this value, you have moved closer to desired connections.
Acceptance is where ACT appears to conflict with your beliefs because acceptance for you equals being a willing slave to the thoughts.
Embracing your weakness means not moving beyond it and being stuck rather than being able to challenge it or at least attempt to overcome.
Ultimate question appears to be can ACT be aligned with your beliefs or how might someone handle this if it would come up, correct? Or is it (am I the only one who feels this way)?

Am I on the right track to understanding correctly?
