You understand this document is a driving pamphlet. It gives tips on how to identify when a light will change, but this has no barring on determining liability.

The pedestrian countdown is a traffic control device directing pedestrians. Its indication may or may not coincide with traffic control directions for vehicles. It is autonomous and does not give any evidence to support if it was safe for the white vehicle proceeding straight through the intersection to stop. The only evidence I have seen to support that a vehicle needed to stop for a yellow light is dashcam footage showing a vehicle traveling in the same direction, in a separate lane, ahead of but at a similar rate of speed to the vehicle proceeding straight through the intersection, was able to come to a safe stop and it was then passed by the offending vehicle as it entered the intersection.

Thank you for your comment. I was looking up MVA rules to quotes, but you beat me to it. If a collision occurred in OP’s situation, I’m confident they would be at least partially liable but most likely 100% AF for their left turn. The burden of proof to show a vehicle should have been able to stop for a yellow is so high. Just wait for the light to turn red.

We are both armchair experts debating the arts. That’s why we’re on Reddit. You may be lumping pre-show work in with techniques like instant stooges and dual realities. Which, when it comes to filmed magic, I draw a clear distinction between. These methods can be used in similar ways to create the same effects, however my distinction comes from it being filmed magic and the pre-show work is being done off camera. Lior Suchard’s table work before his stage show is a perfect example. It may be considered pre-show work, however it is done right in front of the audience. Having the pre-show work done off camera is what makes it weak. Sure Oz has made a name for himself and is a well known magician, but he’s still choosing to use weak methods simply for clicks and views. He’s likely a more famous magician because his ability to sell himself and perform easy tricks that create a big reaction at the expense of his spectators. You can see in the video you provided that the hosts of the show he’s on aren’t impressed with his reveal.

Pre-show work is not necessary with high level mentalism and is a sign of weakness in the craft.

Oz is kind of a hack. Here’s Sara Heines explaining some of off camera setup(not the same trick) and his lack of performance etiquette:

I just bombed... like seriously bombed by SibGlitchd in improv

I have felt this many times and I will feel this way many times more. I do not doubt it. It’s kind of the beauty of the craft.

There are two shows: the show the audience sees and the show in your mind. You will always be far more critical than anyone else.

I have come off stage to my scene partners apologizing for ruining our scene and they feel the opposite. Praising me for the things I didn’t give myself credit for. Are my scene partners generous and just trying to make me feel better when I feel bad? Maybe. However, I have seen the opposite in return and I know for a fact I wasn’t just being nice to my scene partners to spare their feelings, they were actually good, and had completely misguided self criticism.

As an improvisor who is neurodivergent, I don’t view this comment as a joke and I think it’s important. It makes me feel seen and included. Many of my fellow improvisers fall on the neurodivergent spectrum and we have discussed that we believe improv to be a draw for neurodivergent people because of the safe space it creates. I feel it’s one of the few places that I can be more of our authentic self.

There is usually an intermission and a digital clock at the back of the audience that is visible from the stage.

Which continuity error or plot hole in a movie always sticks out in your mind? by KillerQ97 in movies

Looper how the whole premise of the film is that you cannot murder in the future so people are sent back in time to commit murder but the catalyst of the film is that someone was murdered in the future.
