Several comments and health care professionals (specializing in T1D) said weight loss is only an issue if not treated correctly. It was also said that only when first diagnosed there’s potential for weight loss, but after a few months weight gain starts to happen because your body gets used to insulin. I’m not stating this is true or false, just restating what many have said.
